three mile stretch of golden sands at Woolacombe,
awarded a Blue Flag and famed for its excellent surf. Woolacombe is
flanked by two impressive headlands, Morte Point and
Baggy
Point with Lundy
Island appearing high on the horizon. Croyde,
Putsborough and Saunton beach's are also very close by. Surfers will
find we offer facilities for safe storage of surf boards and
wetsuits.
The Victorian town of Ilfracombe
offers a good choice of shops, theatre, art gallery, museum,
swimming pool, markets, restaurants. Regular boat trips leave the
harbour for both fishing and sightseeing and day trips to Lundy
Island.
